Classwork: ok, too much opposition to the proposed video Growing Up Online, so another round of choice but get it right this time. Choose one of the programs below and watch it in class on Monday.
This link has a number of videos about how technology is changing relationships. The idea is that you compare videos both primary, those that interview a person, and secondary, the parts where comments are made about a person, not the person giving their own experience. Using a mis of both you would be able to answer questions about the theme of family life. How Technology is Changing Relationships
All of these links are for the class to read, listen, and discuss together. You all still need to select your ownarticles to upload for discussion, according to their origin, purpose, value and limitation. This basis should also be applied to the videos you choose to watch this week.
You can take time in class to do some research. By the end of this week, Thursday class time, you should have ALL of your minimum six sources for your project: 2 reference, 2 primary, and 2 secondary. I encourage yoku to use more to improve your grade on the research process. Each of you should open up your own page on THIS WIKI where you will post your bibliography and where I can make comments about your sources. Remember to do your I-search chart under the project page. You can send this to the class email anahuac.englishone@gmail.com
Final comment for now, please make a plan with Norma to meet her near the computer lab on Wednesday. I think there is an elevator but if not, then cancel and have class in another location because she can't do stairs. Any questions, send them to me through the wiki or the email and I'll answer asap but no pr,ises because I won't be hooked up with my mobile.
Ok. That's it. Have a great week and bust it on finding your sources!! Take care!
